Avoid foods that stress your jaw:
Hard foods (nuts, chips, raw veggies)
Chewy or sticky foods (bagels, gum, tough meat)
Wide biting (burgers, large sandwiches)
TMJ-friendly foods:
Smoothies and soups
Soft proteins (eggs, tofu, fish)
Cooked veggies and soft grains
Tip: Cut food into small bites and chew evenly on both sides.
